Hello from icodex studio
Why this studio exists, how we build, and what you'll find on this blog: build logs from Bodica and Radora, AI engineering notes, and honest numbers.
icodex studio is an independent app studio. Small on purpose, meticulous by design. We take products from the first sketch to the App Store — strategy, design, engineering, and AI, all under one roof.
This blog is where we work with the garage door open.
What we're building
Two apps are live today:
- Bodica — an AI body language coach. Point your camera at any photo and get a scored breakdown of posture, expressions, and gestures, plus dozens of lessons grounded in behavioral psychology.
- Radora — learn English by reading what you actually enjoy, with spaced repetition doing the remembering for you.
Both are shipped, maintained, and evolving weekly. Neither is finished — good products never are.
What you'll find here
We'll write the posts we wish existed when we started:
- Build logs. Real decisions from Bodica and Radora — what worked, what we reverted, and why.
- AI engineering notes. Prompt design, evaluation, latency budgets, and shipping LLM features that survive contact with real users.
- Craft. Scroll performance, animation restraint, localization, App Store optimization — the details that make software feel expensive.
- Honest numbers. Downloads, conversion, and the occasional face-plant.
No growth hacks, no recycled listicles. If a post wouldn't help another builder, it doesn't get published.
How we work
Our rules fit in a paragraph: every screen earns its place. Performance is a feature, not an optimization pass. Privacy is the default, not a settings toggle. And motion is seasoning — a little, in the right place.
const icodex = {
size: "small",
standards: "uncomfortably high",
shipping: true,
};
If that resonates, stick around. The next posts are already in draft.
